Rome's public transport network is probably one of the most convenient and affordable. Depending on how you will use it and how long you are staying in the city, you can choose between several types of ticket. Their prices are as follows:
Single ticket: Valid for 75 minutes from validation. It costs €1.50.
Day ticket: Allows unlimited use of public transport for the whole day. It costs €6.
3-day tourist pass: Unlimited use of public transport from validation and for the following 2 consecutive days. It costs €16.50.
Weekly pass: Unlimited use of public transport valid for 7 consecutive days. It costs €24.
